A middleweight twin from 1985 to 1990, and the forerunner of the Vulcan line. Its engine was derived from the Ninja 900 with two cylinders removed. It was pitched as a good first big bike thanks to its low seat, light weight and smooth running, and it was replaced by the Vulcan 500 in 1990.
